UCSF Clinical Leadership Accelerator

The UCSF Clinical Leadership Accelerator gives clinical faculty an opportunity to gain the insight and skills needed to lead change and improve health care.

This new program gives clinical faculty an opportunity to gain the insight and skills needed to lead change and improve health care. All UCSF clinical faculty with five or more years of experience in a leadership role are eligible to apply. Program fees are covered by Healthforce Center at UCSF, so the program is free for all participants. 

The program consists of two in-person seminar days and two one-hour long webinars. During these sessions, participants will have the opportunity to:

  • Increase self-awareness and self-efficacy
  • Make progress against leadership development goals
  • Acquire skills to address complex issues and challenges
  • Learn tools to effectively communicate and collaborate
  • Gain a greater sense of community at UCSF
