At the age of 38, Bettina Lewis was promoted to chief operations officer at Los Angeles Christian Health Center, which serves more than 9,000 patients per year.  At first, Bettina lacked the confidence to succeed in her new role, but Clinic Leadership Institute, a project of Blue Shield of California Foundation and Healthforce Center at UCSF, gave her the tools and confidence to lean into her role and become the leader she was meant to be.
