The California Improvement Network (CIN), a Healthforce Center initiative supported by the California Health Care Foundation, brings together health plans, providers, state and regional agencies, and community-based organizations to learn from one another and put good ideas into practice. Our new impact report shows what that looks like: 91% of CIN partners gained knowledge and perspectives they couldn't get elsewhere, and 93% built relationships with peers they continue to rely on.
The report also follows what happens beyond those numbers, from a behavioral-health organization using CIN connections to find its way into Enhanced Care Management to a child-safety protocol developed by one partner spreading quickly through others' networks. Together, the findings and stories show how CIN helps organizations build on what others have already learned, move more quickly from ideas to action, and spread promising approaches across California's health care system.
