The 2020-21 Board of Registered Nursing (BRN) School Survey was based on prior BRN surveys and modified based on recommendations from the Nursing Education & Workforce Advisory Committee (NEWAC), which consists of nursing education and industry stakeholders from across California. The University of California, San Francisco was commissioned by the BRN to develop the online survey instrument, administer the survey, and report data collected from the survey. The survey collects data about nursing programs and their students and faculty. Data presented in this report are from the academic year beginning August 1, 2020 and ending July 31, 2021.
